Yes,4 more weeks to go before I jet off to Hong Kong & Macau.
I wasn’t really looking forward to this trip with great expectancy cos’ I’m really not that close to slightly < 1/2 of the people I will be travelling with.Me & Weng just went since some of his buddies suggested spending our countdown there.So,we just said ok.
But as the date draws nearer,I do look foward to it as it will really be a good break for me.Come to think about it,I have really been working very hard this year,especially in work & ministry,so much so that my body ache more this year than last year (or is this a sign that I’m getting older? Oh no..).
Since April when I started SOT & even till now,I have never stopped working & neither was I on any MC.There was no break at all for me & this year has really been tough for me.
My life has been in a constant chain of work,ministry,work,ministry…Of course I still have the dinner with my family & time needed with Weng & my close friends..But that’s just about it.I have been so busy but I don’t know what I have been busy with..
So,hopefully fm 31 Dec till 05 Jan will be a good break for me to rest,evaluate & also plan for the things that I want to do & achieve in 2008.

Finally,we paid the deposit for my bridal gown,teadress,etc at Irene’s Creation yesterday.The initial quotation given when we first went to the place was $2K,then it went to $2.5K at the subsequent visit (i also cant really remember why). Yesterday,it was brought back to $2K again.We are still puzzled by it but nonetheless,we take it that it is a blessing from God & we are grateful for it.
Last week,we went to paid the deposit for our photoshoot as I got one of my ex-cg mbr to do our photo album for us.He too decide to give me a discount of $400.
With these 2 discounts amounting to close to $1K,indeed,we really want to thank God for helping us to save $,especially when we are in the midst of building fund.
A little adds up to a lot means a lot to both of us.

After my finishing my dinner tonite at the kopitiam,I was making a casual remark & telling matthew & sherine that the mtg will end at 10pm tonite..Well,it came to pass & we ended around 9.40pm..
Matthew was saying that “Are u a prophetess or what? It came to pass and this is the 3rd or 4th time it happened!”
Well,if it happens everytime,i think my leaders will love my very very much.
Hopefully,our tuesday mtg will always end latest by 10pm.That has always been my secret wish every tuesday…hahaha..I think it is also the wish of my fellow leaders.

My mum always tell me in chinese that “one kind of rice can raise different kinds of people”.
Human beings can be complex & simple.But one thing is for sure: we are all not perfect. It is ok not to be perfect but yet it is another thing to be irresponsible & throw all your stuff to another person.
I mean how can a shepherd be like that? I pity the sheeps,they are really like lost sheeps without a shepherd.The leader is always not around,not there for the members.Of course,I understand that all of us are busy & have tight schedule but so long as one day you are still the cgl,then,you jolly well still do the job to the best of your ability & not do it so half-heartedly,leaving your fellow leader to cover everything.
It is frustrating & disappointing to see such things happening because is the members who suffer in the end.Without a shepherd,how do you expect the sheeps to know what’s going on,etc?
And I defintely do not appreciate that kind of tone & attitude.When someone is covering for you,what gives you the right to flare up & throw your temper,your stupid attitude & tone at others when you are not even interested & not helping? I am not a rubbish bin. The fact that I keep quiet & don’t confront you does not mean that I am afraid of you or I agree with you.I just don’t like confrontation & that is not in my personality.
My man says the next time it happens again,why dont you ask the leader this question. “If I am doing everything,then,why are u still the leader of this grp?” He says just give it straight to the face & ask the person to wake up their idea.
Well,I do not know if I will really react in that manner as my man suggests.But if I can’t endure anymore,I guess I will & I will report it to higher authorities..

On Sat night,I walked past this chinese temple & there was a banner that says “healing festival”. I was suprised that they also have such healing events going on..That’s not the main point..The one that really caught my attention was this banner that says, “Pls help us for our loan repayment for the building of the temple”.. What an irony!
We are also in the season of arise & build,our building project for the house of God.But never had we depend on others to raise funds.We encouraged,inspired,build faith on every single member to sacrifice and give.Unequal amount but equal sacrifice. This is the BIG DIFFERENCE between us and them.
I truly believe that when the God’s people arise & build,nothing can stop us.
We will have our stadium building in God’s perfect timing!
