Hubby’s weird habit

After 2 nights of observation, I seem to discover something new about my hubby. Though I think is weird but I appreciate what he has done.

After finishing Star Awards last night, hubby went to sweep the floor, use turpentine to clean some of the stains on the floor as a result of the reno, mop the floor. After that, he still help to change the bedsheets and even wash some of the clothes. I think by the time he slept,it must be around 2am already.

And now while I’m blogging,he is busy fixing the hi-fi that he wants to put in the bedroom and checking the lights.

Maybe he finds more motivation and inspiration to do certain things at night or maybe he is just in the mood. I hope he will always be in the mood to do all the chores (which I really appreciate, esp in my current state).

Thanks Dear Dear… :)

Updates on me,not mummy

I went to see the gynae today again and gynae said that I must be a shy baby cos’ I refuse to let daddy, mummy see my genitals.

I’m 17 weeks old now and I weigh 143grams. Gynae says that’s a pretty good size. Oh ya,I’m still as active during the scan and the gynae spent a longer time today trying to see if I am a prince or a princess. Hahaha…

Daddy,Mummy, you just have to wait for next month when we go for our detailed scan… :P

Oh ya,did I tell u that Mummy has finally gain some weight cos of the pregnancy? Mummy is weighing at 45kg now.. If not for the pregnancy,I seriously doubt that my Mummy will gain weight..

Public in mrt vs public in bus

After taking both the bus and MRT to work for 2 different weeks, I have a conclusion. It seems that the general public taking MRT seems to be practice the “Singa” spirit in them more than than the general public taking bus.

For the last 1 week of taking train, the general public (and sad to say is usually the ladies) who gave up their seats for me (a preggie lady). I remembered that there was this time the previous week where I took bus to work,my already pretty obvious tummy was facing this young couple who looked like they are in the earlier 20s but they just looked away, as if they didn’t see my tummy. In the end, I have to stand for a whole 30 mins throughout the whole bus journey.

Well,I’m not sure if the recent ad about courtesy & smiling will help in promoting the “Singa” spirit in us. We shall wait and see.

Backslidden… (fm blogging,relax)

I just realized that my last blog was 06 April and that’s like 2 weeks back. I also realized that some of my friends also seem to have “backslidden” from blogging yah…Or has Facebook (where you can post “Notes”) overtaken all of us from blogging?

Not for me, just that there’s nothing to inspire me to blog recently. No inspiration…Don’t want to blog for the sake of blogging too…

Birdnest,yummy…

Every Mon, both hubby and I will go over to my in-laws place for dinner and every Wed,it be at my parents place. This is like our weekly routine cos Tue (I hv leaders meeting & he plays soccer), Wed (occasionally I hv singles meeting), Thur (CG day), Fri (couple time or time with friends), Sat & Sun (days we spent together or with friends, esp Sun).

Today,I have a little surprise when I went over for dinner. My MIL bought birdnest for me to eat. It’s not those bottled-kind from Yu Ren Sheng but is really those that you see on display;the real thing where you need to soak in & boil it.

Woah… I love birdnest and I really appreciate the love from my MIL.

Thank you to a kind lady

I was boarding the train from Dhoby Ghaut to Punngol that day and as usual, the train is jam-packed as it was after office hours. Even though my tummy isn’t that big yet (though some said that actually is quite big for my size) but it should be quite obvious that I’m preggie.

Me and hubby were standing near the door and in front of me was the 2-seater seats where one of them is the “priority seat”. It was a lady and a man in their late 20s or early 30s who occupied them and they do not have any intention to give up their seats.

It was only after the train has passed 2 stations where this lady in white pants and black-stripped shirts who was sitting opposite this couple spotted me, called me and gave her up seat. Mind you, this lady was probably in her early 40s already.

Both hubby and I looked at each other & gave each other a weak smile (a weak smile for that couple).
