I used to self-medicate whenever I fell sick last time (whether is flu, cough & sometimes the slight fever) and I always feel proud that I only take 2 days MC every year.
But ever since I have a little one, somehow or rather, I tend to see the GP more often. The last time I feel sick (with fever & flu), I was down on 3 days MC 3 weeks ago. Now, I am down again with 2 days MC (due to cough since sat). Even dear dear keep asking me to go see doc. It used to be I will just leave the cough alone and hope that it go away.
I guess with a little one coming very soon, Mummy has a greater need to be more responsible in taking care of my health.

Princess seems to be quite active & at different timing too. When I feel her movements or her kicks, I will try to stare at my tummy to watch how my tummy moves when she move. I do get a kick or thrill out of it and smile at myself when I see it. Of course, I try not to do it in public la..haahaa.. Hubby will always say that she is learning soccer kicks inside so that he can train her when she’s out.
Sometimes,she will also try to hide her kicks whenever daddy try to listen to the tummy or when daddy puts his hand on the tummy to feel her. Then when daddy goes away, she will move again. Hmm…

According to princess EDD, I’m about 28 weeks now & going to enter the last lap of my pregnancy. I hope & prayed that this last lap will not be too difficult and I will enjoy it as much as my second trimester.
I’m also thankful that I did not spend a single cent on any maternity clothes at all. All that I have bought are two 3/4 pants (those that you can buy at pasar malam & only costs $10 each), 4 pieces of tank tops (those that are size M or L), some inner beauty wear.
Thanks to my SIL (who gave me some of her old maternity clothes – I have been wearing the 2 pants, 2 tops). Thanks also to buddy who gave me two dresses that she can’t fit anymore. Thanks to hubby’s good friend’s wife who have me a pair of jeans, a pair of shorts, a dress. The jeans really is something that can in time cos’ I was complaining that I got no jeans to wear on weekends of friday for work.

After hearing hubby rave about the BK All Day Value Meal (the one that costs $3.95), I finally had it yesterday for breakfast. It’s really not too bad like what hubby says – the croissant bread is really soft & nice. Plus,it comes with one of my fave drink – iced milo.

Princess EDD is on 060102009 – this means another 3 more months before we get to see her face to face.
She’s been kicking mummy at quite a frequent pace too until Dear Dear says she’s probably practicing soccer inside (yah right, so funny)…
The most important thing is that she will give mummy short labor pains during delivery, she will grow up to be healthy and strong, easy to take care baby and she will bring lots of joy to her grandparents, parents and everyone who sees her.
O, mummy also prays and tells her every night that she will have big round eyes with double eye-lids and nice long eye-lashes & a pointed sharp nose like mummy and beautiful teeth like daddy and she will have nice pretty features…

Is not the countdown to baby’s birth…but is the countdown to mummy’s official last day of work.. hahaha..
In less than 55 working days, I will be officially released from the hectic and pressures of work – I be going on 2 weeks block leave and then maternity leave..
I’m looking forward to the break cos I really need a break from work..
